  4. This is called filter paper Water can pass through this paper used by scientists Why do you think water can pass through this paper? Discuss your ideas with your partner

  5. Look at the sample of mud and water. Shake or stir the sample…..and leave it still for a minute or two What do you notice? What else is in the sample other than water and mud?

  6. This looks like coke…. But it’s not….it’s very muddy water! Your challenge is to separate the mud and water?

  7. Using this equipment Can you name them? Filter paper Funnel Glass beaker
