  9. Core Dataset H Changes to NDTMS New Fields for all YP/Adult Drug/Adult Alcohol datasets GP Practice Code Added for potential use. If data is input, needs to be in the form Z12345. New field for YP/Adult Drug datasets ?Alcohol Hepatitis C Tested Added for clarity around Hepatitis C test Date field. Permissible values are “No”, “Yes” and “Not asked”.

Core Dataset H Changes to NDTMS New Fields for YP dataset YP a Looked After Child Introduced to make the LAC status more clear. “Yes”, “No” and “Not Known” are permissible values but only if response is “Yes” will it be possible to enter information under the Location of LAC field. YP Frequency of use of drug 1 at Treatment Start/Exit Permissible values of 0-28 referring to the 28 days preceding treatment or in last 28 days of treatment. “Client declined to answer” is also permissible.

Permissible values are: • No • Yes – Detox CAMHS patient • Yes – Detox Adult ward • Yes – In reach community detox • Yes – In reach psychosocial • Yes – Dedicated YP detox and rehab • Yes – Paediatric hospital detox • Yes - Other

  12. Core Dataset H Changes to NDTMS New Fields for YP dataset/Cont.……… YP engaged in unsafe sex at Treatment Start/Exit Following consultation, the YP Sexually Active field has been removed and replaced with this field for greater clarity. Permissible values are : “No”, “Yes” and “Not asked”.

  13. Core Dataset H Changes to NDTMS Additional Changes YP Referral Sources For management and reporting purposes, some codes have been regrouped. Codes 42, 56,52 and 55 (Helpline, Employer (Alcohol Clients only), YP Housing and Website) are placed in a new grouping of “Other”. The codes themselves remain in force and with the same definition as previously.

Core Dataset H Changes to NDTMS Additional Changes New geographies Local Authority lists e.g. for Northumberland have been updated Technical Identifiers Client ID, Episode ID, Modality ID and TOP ID are now compulsory and must not include attributable information. (These are generated by IT system rather than input by administrator.) Local Authority Is now mandatory for all datasets. (NB: LA, PCT, DAT are all fields expected to reflect on client’s current situation)
