Conclusions • Pakistan is rich in Livestock assets. • Its number is increasing at a rate which is higher than the growth rate of population. • It may saturate after some time. • Crop sector is facing the same problem. • Milk production is the largest contributing activity which belongs to rural community. • Almost every agricultural household has the milk producing animals.

Recommendations • Introduction of better breeds in usual environment. • Artificial Insemination (AI) • Provision of better Veterinary facilities. • Small Scale Units for processing of milk and other dairy products. • Reduction in the role of middle man in milk delivery chain. • Create awareness through training of the Agriculture Households. • Credit facilities. • Create “Success Model” and multiply it.
