ROLES IN REBALANCING ACTION • Regione Lazio - Regional Department for Transports: strengthening the areas with strategic vision of the metropolitan area; • BIC Lazio: procedure of identification of objectives and selection of priorities.
TWOFOLD DEVELOPMENTFOR PILOT ACTIONS • Regione Lazio: Coherent reorganisation and improvement of public local transport in railways and roads = integrated public transport model for the entire area • Bic Lazio: Tools for joint programming and territorial promotion acting through ISI (local development body) = collected assessments, ideas and action proposals from the Mayors of the 13 Municipalities of the target area

AN INTEGRATED PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR THE TOURISM OF LAKE OF BRACCIANO: THE CIRCUMLACUSTRINE PROJECT
RESULTS ACHIEVED AND PILOT PROJECT ASSESSMENT The analysis of the existing situation of the local public transport and of the tourism demand highlighted the following issues • inadequacy of the local transport service • lack of coordination between local transport services and regional rail services; • high environmental impact produced by own-car day trippers. The proposal of the Pilot project aims to overcome these critical points through: • the creation of a dedicated service around Lake of Bracciano; • the improvement of rail-road intermodality; • a better information of endusers
