Usually biased information used to shape public opinion and behavior. • In WWII, propaganda was used more than any other time this world has seen. With new technological inventions such as photography, radio and film, manipulative messages bombarded everyday life in an attempt to persuade a person to believe in a specific cause.

Rationing The distribution of a fixed amount of items that are in short supply. Citizens back on the homefront were asked to support the war effort by using fixed amounts of scarce resources needed for the war, such as shoes, metal, rubber, gas, sugar, coffee, meat, and butter.
