Glorify God – Mobilize the Body – Transform the Community Transformation happens in the context of community and relationships… We believe that God is honored and folks are loved best when we engage them, learn their name and their story, share the hope of Christ, and love them as Christ loves the church. Hebrews 10:24-25 God cares about justice… We want to be the church by responding to injustice wherever we see it and promoting justice locally, nationally, and internationally. In this, we realize that we need to restore broken people and broken systems, which in many cases, leads to injustice. Micah 6:8 The family is the foundation of community… Scriptures teaches that we should preserve families and equip them. Therefore, we want to protect the core by building up and strengthening families, spiritually and physically. Deuteronomy 6:1-9 Poverty is more than just a lack of material resources…it is the result of relationships that do not work. Our desire is to move people closer to glorifying God by living in right relationship with God, with self, with others, and with the rest of creation.
