Armut ist ein fester Bestandteil der Überflussgesellschaft • Armutsstruktur der Schweizer Bevölkerung (20–59-Jährige),Stand: 2006 • 100% = 4,2 Millionen Personen • Arme 9% • 380 000 Pers. • Davon WorkingPoor • 146 000 Pers. • Nichtarme 91% • (3,8 Mio.) • 2006 lebten in der Schweiz 380’000 Menschen unter der Armutsgrenze. Diese Zahl schliesst jedoch weder Kinder noch Personen in Rente ein. • Mehr als ein Drittel davon sind trotz einer Vollzeit-Erwerbstätigkeit sogenannte Working Poor. • Zwischen 2000 und 2006 ist der Anteil armer Personen zuerst leicht gesunken, um danach wieder auf das Niveau von 2000 anzusteigen.
