Mission Assurance Requirements • Design Verification • Performance Verification Plan (PVP) • Verification Program based upon GEVS-SE • Verification Matrix (for both H/W and S/W) • Environmental Test Matrix • Procedures and Reports • Protoflight and Acceptance testing to ST5 S/C Specification and Requirements document (ST5-495-007) • Protoflight testing shall be performed on the first Flight Unit of the ST5 constellation • Acceptance testing shall be performed on follow-on Flight Units
Mission Assurance Requirements • Safety • “ST5 System Safety Implementation Plan”, ST5-495-040 - Approved • Assumes use of ELV, and not Shuttle • Developers provide required information for GSFC Safety Engineer • GSFC has overall safety responsibility • Parts Requirements • PPL-21, Grade 2 as baseline. Lot specific Qualification and DPA implemented based on part heritage. Parts Control Plan currently in draft form; is being implemented for all subsystems. • Parts Control Board review of selected parts. Approved parts will be added to ST5 PAPL and posted on web site.
