Goals for 2007-2008 • XBT • 5 AX lines: AX01, AX05, AX11, AX15, AX20. • Replace the old XBT systems by Devil (CSIRO). 6 XBT Devil funded in 2006 (30 000 €) 6 XBT Devil funded in 2007 (30 000 €) • Data processing: CSIRO QC software or Ifremer QC software. • TSG • 5 AX lines: AX01, AX05, AX11, AX15, AX20. • Re-implement AX11 (Monte Olivia). • pCO2 • 2 AX lines: AX20, AX11. • Implement AX11 (Monte Olivia).

Data distribution: the Coriolis data centre • 7 french research institutes have joined their efforts to build the Coriolis project which aims to propose the in-situ component of an operational oceanography system One of the major component is the Coriolis data centre

Data distribution Various distribution means are used depending on the final use : - operational service (models, Mercator, Mersea, Mfstep, Medspiration, Argo) - ftp (daily and weekly distribution adapted to the need of the final users x Daily distribution Mersea (global distribution) x Daily distribution Medspiration used for co-localisation with satellites products x weekly distribution to Mercator - for a regular use or a time to time use - web site http://www.coriolis.eu.org x monitoring the data available in an area (ie. Mediterranean, bay of Biscay…) x distribution on request (query on the web and ftp distribution) - through a DODS server
