ERCOT Board Meeting October 18, 2011 • Commercial Market Operations Report • http://www.ercot.com/content/meetings/board/keydocs/2011/1018/Item_04d_-_Commercial_Market_Operations_Report_-_Revised.pdf • (see slide No. 9) • Reflects that 3.7 Million ESI IDs were settled using AMS Meter data • 76.1% of the Load at ERCOT is settled with IDR data (This accounts for both AMS and IDR Meter Data)

  3. AMS Meter Installation Status Report Oncor (approximately): • Installed: 2,122,793 as of 09.30.2011 • Deployment Plan: • 2010 – 929,000 meters • 2011 – 902,000 meters • 2012 – 902,000 meters

  4. AMS Meter Installation Status Report CNP (approximately): • Installed: 1,725,986 as of 09.30.2011 • Deployment Plan, includes projected growth: • 2010 – 756,684 meters • 2011 –   960,327 meters • 2012 –   373,423 meters

  5. AMS Meter Installation Status Report AEP (approximately): • Installed: 364,157 as of 09.30.2011 • Deployment Plan schedule: • 2010 – 188,212meters • 2011 –   251,571 meters • 2012 –   279,329 meters • 2013 – 278,280 meters

  6. New Player to TEXAS AMS • Texas New Mexico Power (TNMP) started their AMS deployment on September 19, 2011: • Deployment Plan: • Approximately 240,000 AMS meters will be installed • Planned completion Q3 2016 • After 3 years of AMS deployment 70% of TNMP’s Customer Base will have an AMS meter that includes TNMP’s most populous areas.

  7. AMS Meter Installation Status Report TNMP (approximately): • Installed: 1,160 as of 09.30.2011 • Deployment Plan schedule: • North Texas • Q4 2014 through Q3 2015 meters • Central Texas • Q3 2015 through Q1 2016 meters • West Texas • Q2 2016 through Q3 2016 meters
