Sibley Crash Data Overview Rural Crashes • 83% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in rural areas. Non-Intersection Related Crashes • 67% (145) of CSAH/CR rural severe crashes are non-intersection related. • 68% (98) of CSAH/CR severe rural, non-intersection related are run off road severe crashes, 31% (45) of which occurred on a curve. Intersection-Related Crashes • 28% (62) of CSAH/CR rural severe crashes are intersection-related. • 48% occurred at thru-stop intersections (16% of these crashes were right angle) Urban Crashes • 17% (44) of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in urban areas. • 66% (29) of CSAH/CR urban severe crashes are intersection-related. 48% occurred at thru-stop intersection.
