  4. Norman County Crash Data Overview ATP 2 Crash Data Rural Crashes • 94% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in rural areas. Non-Intersection Related Crashes • 64% of CSAH/CR rural severe crashes are non-intersection related. • 65% of these are road departure crashes, 45% of which occurred on a curve. Intersection Related Crashes • 33% of CSAH/CR rural severe crashes are intersection related. • 76% of these crashes occurred at a thru-STOP intersection. Norman County Crash Data Rural Crashes • 100% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in rural areas. Non-Intersection Related Crashes • 60% of CSAH/CR rural severe crashes are non-intersection related. • 83% of these are road departure crashes, 40% of which occurred on a curve. Intersection Related Crashes • 33% of CSAH/CR rural severe crashes are intersection related.
