5. Bishopston – small rural town Small rural settlements have suffered from competition from supermarkets in neighbouring larger towns cities. Very few stores survive – maybe the village Post Office and store? The commuters from Bishopston mainly shop in Swansea. May buy from local farmer’s markets occasionally at weekends.
