Seat Assignments Changes are made in seat assignments only if there is a problem. If you can’t see from the back let me know now. If you learn better sitting in the front , let me know now. If you don’t like your seat, let me know privately and tell me the reason why.

Procedure for entering the classroom • Quietly line up against the wall until the teacher has given permission to enter the room.
Rules • Raise your hands before speaking • Be prepared for class • Be in your seat before the Tardy Bell • No food, gum or drinks in class • Be kind and respectful at all times
Consequences • After class detention • After school detention • Call home • Sent to the office
Write both first name and last name on your assignments • If don’t write both first name and last name you will loose a point
Restroom Policy • Do not interrupt Mr. Kim during middle of a lesson • Can not leave in the 1st 20 minutes or last 20 minutes of class. • If you got detention you can not leave. • Need to write your name, date, period and time in the Restroom log book. • Need to stay 1 minute after class to pick up some trash or straighten up books • If you are going to the restroom too frequently, we will need to get your parent’s permission before going to the restroom.
Waterbreak Policy • Do not interrupt Mr. Kim during middle of a lesson. • Can not leave in the 1st 20 minutes or last 20 minutes of class. • If you got detention you can not leave. • Once given permission you may leave to get water at the 2nd floor water fountain • If you are back within 2 minutes there will be no consequences.
Computer Policy • If you misuse the computer which includes playing games or going to a site that is not related to what we are learning about, you will not be able to use the computer for the rest of the year.
Forgetting to bring a pencil or pen • If you forget to bring a pencil or pen, I will lend you a pencil but you will need to stay for detention.

Procedures for leaving the classroom • Stairways are one way traffic. You need to exit the stair through the far stairs.

Science Notebook • 30% of you grade • Graded once a week (Thursday or Friday) • We won’t be using a textbook so the Notebook you create will be your textbook • You will use your Notebook to study for the test.
Supplies needed • 1 inch three ring binder (Needed by 9/5 or 9/6) • Pencils or Pens (Blue or Black) • Small Pencil Sharpener (If using a pencil) • Colored Pencil • Glue stick • Eraser
Poster of Science Project • Due 9/13 & 9/14 • 20 Points • Create a poster on any subject related science • Need to be creative in order to get the full 20 Points • The best posters will be hung on the wall in time for “back to school night”
