The reasons why I would love 20th century fox to distribute my media product and why it might want to is for a number of reasons such as,20th century fox has released many of my favourite and extremely successful thrillers such as Taken, Knight and Day and Black Swan, this shows a wide variety of different kind of thrillers from psychological to crime.Insane which is the film my group have come up with is also a crime thriller. 20th Century Fox is a huge media company with lots of excellent experience and expertise when it comes to producing and distributing films. Taken constantly keeps you at the edge of your seat and creates a tense atmosphere, which is what I like to think Insane would do. 20th century fox is one of the six major American film studios as of 2011.I believe the narrative of my film would attract a large mainstream audience.

  6. Paramount pictures is America's oldest existing film studio. Paramount is consistently ranked as one of the largest top-grossing movie studios. They have produced many thrillers including Collateral. The reason why Paramount pictures might distribute my product is because hopefully my opening title sequence will be something like the opening title sequence in Collateral. Both Insane and collateral are action thrillers and as collateral got many good reviews it will raise high expectations for my film.

  7. Lions Gate UK Lions Gate would be a great film institution for ‘Insane’ as it a institution that has produced many Thrillers like ‘Insane’ such as ‘The Holding’. It is also familiar with producing films with a low Budget so they will know how to make use with the money we have got and they are also aware of what makes a great thriller which is why my group chose Lions Gate to be our film institution. Lions Gate UK is an independent film institution which is known for distributing films with a low budget much like my film Insane and turning it into something great such as The Holding. http://www.lionsgate.com/

  8. Mainstream film institutions like paramount pictures and 20th Century fox usually have well known actors in. If paramount pictures or 20th Century fox did distribute my film, I would love for Alan Rickman to play the doctor. The reason because of this is that he is great at playing sneaky , mean and complex characters. He also has the perfect look for our character when he plays Severus Snape in Harry Potter. Dark hair, to represent his evil mind and a disapproving and evil stare.

  9. The holding is a suspenseful thriller much like ‘Insane’. Despite its low budget, the film is entertaining throughout, making great use of its isolated rural settings, and the special effects of the violence are gruesome and convincing. The film is a highly successful run at international festivals and the film has been released on region 2 DVD by Lions Gate. I would be more than happy if Lions Gate would make ‘Insane’ anything as good as ‘The holding’ especially as they both have a low budget and use rural settings. Although the villain does not wear a suit in ‘The Holding’ both Doctor Kennedy(villain in Insane and Aden villain in The Holding) both have a scruffy look about them, doctor Kennedys hair and Adens facial hair.

  10. I would want my film to be marketed in several ways one of them being the internet. My target audience is teenagers + and the average teenager spends about 20 hours a week on a computer so this would be a great way to market my film. Another way Insane could be advertised is on posters on a bus stop this is a very effective way to advertise as many teenagers catch a bus for everyday life. If we had enough in our budget I would also want to advertise ‘Insane’ using a tv advert as all ages watch TV and so would be a great way to market my film.Insane would be shown in independent cinemas such as the picture house chain.
