Syllabus • Take a few minutes to read through the syllabus • At your tables, discuss the following: • The assignments, decide what questions you have • The class policies, decide what questions you have • The course schedule, decide what questions you have • Anything else you might have a question about? • Anything that surprised you?

Field Experience • Begins no later than week 4 • Ends no earlier than week 10 • No more than 3 hours per visit • Should largely be spent observing reading instruction and teaching small groups or 1-1, also instructing case study student • Done in a general education K, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade classroom • Includes doing a case study • Hours must be signed off by a cooperating teacher on every visit
