“Rescue me” by bO. • Genre: Techno, House, Electronic, Electro. • Techno: a style of fast heavy electronic dance music usually without vocals. • House: House is a style of electronic dance music that originated in Chicago, Illinois, USA in the early 1980s. House is strongly influenced by elements of soul- and funk-infused varieties of disco • Electronic: Electronic music is music that employs electronic musical instruments and electronic music technology in its production. In general a distinction can be made between sound produced using electromechanical means and that produced using electronic technology. • Electro: is a hybrid of electronic music and funk. It essentially follows the same form as funk, and retains funk's characteristics, but is made entirely (or partially) with a use of electronic instruments such as the TR-808.
MUSIC VIDEO CONCEPTS “Rescue me” • Our music video will be narrative with an element of performance: • At the beginning of our music video, the first shot will be of the characters starting to take the drugs. As the video continues and the pace quickens as the music tempo quickens, this is where you start to see the effects of the drugs on the characters. The music video follows them and what they get up to e.g. fighting etc. The music video will follow a typical day in the life of our characters. • When there is lyrics, we will have different characters miming the words. • In our music video, the characters we will use will be a variety of different stereotypes, e.g. chavs etc. • Settings: Park Alleyways House Supermarket etc.
“Rescue Me” • Our music video is strongly influenced by Greenday- Jesus of Suburbia.
Audience research We will use a questionnaire to evaluate the ideas of our music video and whether our selected target audience will be interested in it. This will be filled out by several people so we can get a good idea of what people will think and then able to gain more information that will be useful to attract our target audience.

“Fly on” by Konan • House, Funky, Electronic, Dance, Electro • Funk: is a music genre that originated in the mid-late 1960s when African American musicians blended soul music, soul jazz and R&B into a rhythmic, danceable new form of music. Funk de-emphasizes melody and harmony and brings a strong rhythmic groove of electric bass and drums to the foreground. • House: House is a style of electronic dance music that originated in Chicago, Illinois, USA in the early 1980s. Music video concepts “Fly on” by Konan • Our music video will be conceptual. • One persons dressed like the character of Alice from Alice in wonderland starts the conga and she believes that more and more people are joining in with her, but from a different camera angle you will see that this isn’t the case at all. Everyone surrounding her will be looking at her concerned and some scared. The setting will take part in and around the local area. With the illusions of fairies and weird characters based on the story of Alice in Wonderland.
MUSIC VIDEO CONCEPTS “FLY ON” • Our music video is heavily influenced by “LDN- Lily Allen.” And we will try to incorporate the two different perspectives of what she says and what is actually real into our music video.
