Items to Consider • CREZ Related Studies • Manpower Shortages • Transmission Owner contacts working on SSWG Data Set A and Data Set B through November • Age of Data Set B cases currently available that we would start Five-Year Plan • Age of Five-Year Plan cases when complete • NERC Compliance audit in September 2008 RPG Meeting

Options • Start Five-Year Plan in June • Needed to start Five-Year Plan in April to finish by December assuming same time frame as last year • Would require TO help with Conditioning, Reliability, and Economic phases • Would use 2008 Data Set B cases 2009 to 2013 • By the time complete, 2009 Data Set B cases would be finished for years 2010 to 2014 • Build 2013 case from 2008 Data Set B, wait for completion of 2009 Data Set B, and start Five-Year Plan • TO added projects requiring RPG review identified to speed conditioning phase • Sync Five-Year Plan with SSWG • Cases complete before 2010 Data Set B started • ERCOT and TO work together to determine Reliability projects to satisfy Planning Charter and NERC Standards • Work together to determine Economic projects RPG Meeting
