Project Test Philosophy • Model Types • Launch Vehicle Interface Model – Used to check the fit between the EyasSat and the Launch Vehicle • Acoustic Simulation Model – Used to verify that the satellite will survive and operate after the acoustic environment during launch. • Risk Approach • All 5 EyasSat’s will undergo each type of testing at the same time. This will keep logistic costs down but also if one satellite is held up, all 5 are then held up creating a schedule slip. • Dates for timeline have margin built in to allow for any delays or deviations from the schedule, which will help mitigate risk.
