  10. What Is God’s Call? A growing or sudden awareness that God has set your life aside for a special purpose of service for Him.

  11. Vocational or Bi-Vocational? • Both are calls from God to a special purpose of service. • Vocational is a single career focus. • Bi-vocational is a dual career focus.

  12. How Does God Call? • Through Scripture • Through Prayer • Through Circumstances • Through Interests and Abilities • Through Spiritual Gifts • Through Inner Impressions

Are You Called to Church Planting? • Distinguish between the universal call to ministry for all Christians and the call to special ministry • Realize that the call may be expressed in a variety of roles over time • Rooted in the Great Commission • Restlessness in current role • Inner desire from the Holy Spirit • Confirmation from other Christians

Nurturing Your Call to Church Planting • Maintain focus on your personal spiritual growth • Continue to develop your gifts through ministry • Find a church planter mentor • Exercise your call to Church Planting now • Enlist others to pray for you • Study to become an “expert” on Church Planting • Stay connected to the larger context
