Tasks Establish and maintain a process to coordinate and leverage the totality of RDT&E efforts related to the distribution of AA&E within the Department of Defense. The scope of this effort will include pre- and post-acquisition technology and RDT&E efforts within the Department of Defense that offer potential for improving the design, handling, storage, accountability, visibility and distribution of AA&E.
Key Participants • OSD (AT&L) – Office of Primary Responsibility • The Military Services – conduct AA&E RDT&E, acquisition, and supply chain implementation • Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) – designated RDT&E lead agent • PEO-AMMO - SMCA Executor and is responsible for life cycle acquisition management of designated Service ammunition • USTRANSCOM – Distribution Process Owner

Future Plans • Potential central storage for JOCG Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans • Digitize archived VHS tapes for uploading to database • Expand effort to engage member’s subordinate activities/offices • Continue to solicit and upload additional data • Initiate marketing campaign to get the word out
