Institutional Data • Various pieces of information that our office (OIRA) collects on OU’s student body.
Values and Expectations • The CIRP survey • Cooperative Institutional Research Project conducted by the Higher Education Research Institute at the University of California at Los Angeles • We get an average of 70 to 80% response rate on this survey. • In general, we are more similar to national norms than we are dissimilar.

College engagement National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE: pronounced ‘nessie’) • College student survey that assesses the extent to which students engage in educational practices associated with high levels of learning and development • Administered every two years. • OU has shown steady increases in NSSE results since 2005 • More data is available on OIRA’s website. • All data is for 1st year students unless otherwise noted.
