  4. Latest CompletedConstruction Projects PCC Industrial Technology Center Phase 1 Measure E 2002 • Modern facility houses Welding Department and other trade programs • Replaces existing antiquated structures • New Northern face of the campus

  5. Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects LAC Building A – Student Services Retrofit Measure E 2008 • Plans submitted to DSA September 2009 • Adds 6,500 Sq. Ft. to existing building • Will house A&R, Counseling, Health Services, Cashier, Transfer Ctr., etc. • Estimated start of construction end of Fall 2010

Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects LAC Parking Structure – Measure E 2008 • Spaces for 900 Vehicles • Photovoltaic Electrical Generation Array on top level • To be located Southeast corner of Lot J adjacent to the Verizon building • Outfitted with single-axis tracking system • Minimum 450 KW+ output • Curriculum building opportunity • Exhibit classroom • Groundbreaking anticipated March, 2010

Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects LAC Building O Complex – Measure E 2008 • Two structures totaling 87,000 square feet • Current Occupants: • ERD, Foundation, Warehouse Facility, and one leasee • Future Occupants: • IITS and BMT • Potential rental spaces being assessed • Anticipated start of construction of building O1 Spring 2010

Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects LAC Infrastructure Improvement Projects Measure E 2008 • Project to be completed in a phased construction schedule • Total annual estimated savings of 1.5 million Kwh • Project started Fall 2009. Anticipated completion Summer 2011 • Upgrades include; Reclaimed Water, Domestic Water, Data, etc. • Majority of existing building HVAC systems to be connected to new infrastructure • Landscaping upgrades to be implemented in conjunction with infrastructure project phasing

  10. Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects LAC Building I - Measure E 2008 • Add additional 4,000 square feet to existing building • Architecture to match LAC Mediterranean Theme • Submitted for DSA review • Construction scheduled for Summer 2010

Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects PCC MDAB (Multi-Disciplinary Academic Building) - Measure E 2002 • Received reviewed plans from DSA. • Currently in construction drawing technical review phase • Install portables for swing space at PCC Spring/Summer 2010 • Anticipated start of MDAB construction Summer 2010 • Project to be completed in two phases

Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects PCC Building CC Retrofit - Measure E 2008 • To be designed by Hill Partnership Architects • Houses the Fitness Center, Gymnasium, Weight Room, and Faculty and Staff Offices • Swing space to be located on PCC Campus (Bldg. GG) • To be completed concurrently with MDAB project phase 2 • Anticipated start of construction Summer 2011

Current and UpcomingConstruction Projects Upcoming Projects • LAC • Expansion of Building I (Awaiting DSA approval) • Bookstore swing space to be located West of J building. • Relocate Bond Management Team Offices to O Building (Community Outreach and Services Facility) and removal of W trailers (Fall 2010) • Increase parking at Faculty and Lew Davis St. • IITS relocation to O building • Bldg. K – Roof extension over Kiln area • Bldg. J – Theater lighting control panel replacement • Bldg. E – Renovation upgrades • CDC – new carpet installation • Installation of Monument Signs at Conant/Clark and Bldg. O • PCC • Bldg. JJ – Add new landscaping around perimeter • MDAB swing space preparation • Install exterior lighting at Tech1 • Demolition of UU and VV • Installation of Monument Signs PCH/Walnut and 20th/Walnut
