Adding Video to a PowerPoint With this presentation you will learn how to add a video clip to a PowerPoint slide. When adding video to a PowerPoint it is best to determine what kind of video you have. If you are using a PC, most presentations work best with a Windows Media Audio/Video file. The video file should have a .wmv extension behind its name. (Note: avi files can be heard but not seen. If you have this extension please convert to a .wmv file for your video to work properly.)
Adding Video to a PowerPoint VERY IMPORTANT! Adding video files to a PowerPoint Presentation can be easy. Making sure it works consistently can be confusing. If you follow just one of these pre-steps explained in the next three slides, you should have a presentation that will always have your video attached and working properly.
