LS1 Activities: LHCb • Most of our activities completed: • ECAL/HCAL: see Yuri’s talk • Coupling vis à billeSPD (A&C side) and ECAL A-sidereplaced • + tuning of SPD closure position on June 25 • Thanks to Bruno, Laurent B & Laurent J from LAPP! • Next: • Interlock system installation for platform doors • Tuning of closing position, etc. Pascal Perret - LPC Clermont

Project organizations • New management & new TDR: • it was agreed at the last LHCb week that the upgrade projects of VELO, RICH, Calorimeter, Muon will be led by the current sub-detector project leaders, being the internal organization of the activities left to the decision of the sub-detector groups. • Proposal: a new appointment for calorimeter: • Upgrade coordinator: Frederic • Will take care of the upgrade, attend TB meeting in place of one deputy, etc. • 1st actions: • proper organization of the activities • set up milestones • These should concern: • the completion of the R&D activities • the various phases of production and integration • EDR, PRR, a date of "ready for installation“, etc. Pascal Perret - LPC Clermont
