ANCHOR UPDATES • Program Funding & Mechanics (PFM) Changes • RHP Plan Updates • Template will be provided in Dec 2017 • Submission moved from Nov 30 2017 to Jan 31 2018 • Will include transition plan from old projects to new core activities • Worth 20% of Valuation (submitted & approved) • Paid July 2018 • Remaining Unused Funds • RHPs that did not fully use their allocation may use these funds for DY7-8 • New and Existing performing providers are eligible to receive them • RHP will determine process (per PFM paragraph 31.c) • HHSC will not get involved in this process • Providers choosing NOT to participate in DY7 • Funds go to state and not redistributed to regions

ANCHOR UPDATES • PFM Changes (continued) • “System” definition • Adding flexibility • may add other “components” of their delivery system • Finalizing minimum requirements • Will be defined in the RHP plan updates • Private Hospital Participation Incentive • Increased from 10% to 15% Pay for Reporting in Category D • Costs and Savings • Must be tracked for only ONE activity each year. • Providers with DY valuation less than $1million are EXEMPT • DY7 MLIU Reporting • Can be done DY7 R2 or DY8 R1 • Category C Reporting • Carry forward of performance allowable

ANCHOR UPDATES • Myers & Stauffer’s Reviews (Compliance Monitoring) • Category 1 and 2 Reviews • Goal to finish Round 3 by June • Notifications of Recoupment (HHSC) • Preliminary notices have already been sent (3 days to respond) • Final communication will then follow • Category 3 Reviews • Goal to finish current reviews by June • Try not to request extensions as it delays the process
