  4. Solution • Develop and implement a National Land Transport Strategy based on the principle of Transport Demand Management • Decrease the dependency on the private car by promoting alternative modes of green transport (biking, walking, mass transport)

  5. Green Line’s proposed strategy aims at: • Improving public transport • Enhancing related infrastructure • Streamlining traffic • Improving car parking • Enforcing road worthiness tests of vehicles

  6. Advantages of the Strategy • Less traffic = less aggressive behavior • Reduced air and noise pollution in target areas • Increased public safety • More transport options
