Our Council. Welcome. Welcome to our presentation. We would like to share with you some of the work we have done this year. How are we elected?. At the beginning of the school year each class votes for their school council representatives. We are this year’s representatives.

  2. Welcome • Welcome to our presentation. • We would like to share with you some of the work we have done this year.

  3. How are we elected? • At the beginning of the school year each class votes for their school council representatives. • We are this year’s representatives.

  4. Our Busy Schedule • We have a busy time at school so we have a working lunch once every half-term. • Eating and decision making at the same time!

  5. Christmas • We organise the Christmas Cards – which have to be ordered before October half term. • This year we raised £188

  6. Children In Need • We discussed and decided on some fun and creative activities for Children in Need Day. • We contributed £251 towards the national total of over £46 million. Every little helps.

  7. Christmas Festive Afternoon • The children all performed for parents and grandparents, showcasing their talents on the stage. • We raised £233

  8. Comic Relief • We organised lots of events and fun activities. • Comic Relief was fun but we did not forget why we were raising money. • We learnt about less fortunate children from around the world and in our country. • We contributed £157 towards the national total of over £73 million.

  9. The Barrow Mile • We have all been collecting sponsorship money to run a mile around the community park. • We are off tomorrow afternoon. Wish us luck!
