Leaves • The leaves change different colors. • Black walnut and butternut trees, Drop leaves before they turn. • Locust trees, Stays green until leaves drop. • Ash trees leaves turns into a plum purple color. • Red maple, dogwood, sassafras, and scarlet oak trees turns Dark red Sugar maple and sumac Flame red.

  3. Rain fall Per Year The Temperate Forest gets 60 inches of rainfall per year.

  4. Temperate Deciduous Forest The Temperate rain Forest is located in the eastern half of the United States, Canada, Europe, parts of Russia, China, and Japan.

  5. Animals in Temperate forest • Bank vole is a mammal. 8-11 cm Black Bear is a mammal. 5-6ft high. The Diet is Fruit, nuts, roots, honey, insects, fish, and small mammals . Rat snake is a reptile 86cm-2.3m.It eats small mammals.

  7. Climate • The forest is hot in Summers and cold in Winters. The forest has 4 seasons : Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall.
