SUBJUNCTIVE WITH CERTAINTY • Even though belief is not often seen as doubt or a mood, it is learned with the Subjunctive Mood. • Ex. Melissa believes that Juan is telling the truth. • So, if the first clause shows a fact, truth, belief etc., although it is still taught with the Subjunctive, the verb conjugations will contain NO Subjunctive. • We can call these Certainty Subjunctive sentences.
