Updates - • Fernanda had a meeting to discuss next step in the development of a solution to LINAC’ s RF high power needs • Jim Steimel will start to work on developing a solution with the first goal to investigate previous proposed solutions and explore them more fully. • Jim will write up a proposal by early spring which can than be used to proceed to the next stage • Explore Cost estimates more fully • Explore Structural Constraints more fully • Explore Time issues/constraints • Schedule !!!! • Who has not developed a schedule with milestones and labor resources? • We will/have started to sit down with managers to ‘assist’ them in this effort. • Fernanda/Bob/Elmie met with Dave Augustine to go over his effort • Next – Tom, Rene….and the rest…. • RFQ/LEBT • Vacuum work continues • Source testing has started (again) • Connecting up RFQ for power testing/conditioning • Budget News • PO’s are going along without any issues • LCW Update – Dave Hixon • LINAC power/utilities – Steve Hays
