  3. Last Year’s Program • County challenge bond program – construction $ ( 2/5) • Fairfield Rd/IL Rte 176 • Rollins Rd/IL Rte 83/CN RR • The 3rd Washington St/CN RR… …construction $? • The approach was: • Accumulated low bid savings • Seek Other Funds

  4. Seek Other Funds • ICC success • Met our $10 M assumption for Rollins/IL 83 (sfy14) • Received $4 M for Washington St/CN RR (sfy15) • CN RR share for the 2 underpasses

CMAP Lake Council of Mayors – STP $ • PASSAGE Corridors (9 D = 1.2M for C = $13): CMAQ $ • Deerfield Bike Path (Saunders Rd to Thornmeadow): CMAQ $

  10. Common Source? • …….federal transportation program • Congress has not yet passed a replacement authorization • SAFETEA-LU ……………9th extension to 6/30/12 • Could be a big impact on the 5-year program!
