  2. What is propaganda? • Propaganda is the act of influencing a certain group by toying with their emotions. • Found on posters, in magazines, newspapers etc.

Propaganda Techniques • Name Calling- links a person or idea to a negative symbol • Plain Folks- used to influence the common man • Bandwagon- everyone else is doing it, so should you • Euphemism- use colorful vocabulary and suggestive words • Fear- makes you feel fear and presents a way to repress it
