  2. Extension of the Tasks • The Commission adopted on 15/11/ the Communication and amending Regulation of 1592/2002 (ER OPS+LIC) • In the future EASA’s operations should be extended to air navigation and airport operations EASA Update

General EASA Rules Template • The Agency supported by some NAA colleagues developed an overall regulatory structure. • Objective: to establish a consistent regulatory structure that ensures the necessary links between the different regulations. • Result of this work is GERT together with the envisaged working methods to develop the related rules. • GERT and the envisaged working methods are presented to the Agency’s advisory bodies AGNA and SSCC this week. Rulemaking Inventory • The following tasks are planned for the drafting of OPS+LIC IR: • OPS.001 Extension to Air Operations • FCL.001 Extension to Flight Crew Licensing • MDM.032 Regulation of aircraft other than complex motor powered aircraft, used in non-commercial activities • OPS.004 Extension to third country aircraft • MDM.033 Issues arising from GERT EASA Update

  5. Timeframe • It is envisaged to start work on • OPS.001 and FCL.001 in 1q 2006 • OPS.004 Third country aircraft 4q 2006 • MDM.032 Non-commercial 4q 2005 • MDM.033 other issues 2007 EASA Update
