Embrey/Rector • Structure (Embrey- Literacy, SS; Rector- Math, Science) • Related Arts rotations (strings in music, band year-long) • GradeSpeedParent Connection – ID numbers (info on web) • Email weekly regarding assignments (teacher web not funded by PTO this year); Mrs. Rector has a teacher website/Mr. Embrey is in the process of creating a teacher website.

  4. Extra • ArtSmart with TPAC education • Jasper and Smart Science • Chess club (Thursdays), Scrabble Club (Tuesdays), Newspaper Club (Wednesday), Student Council (5th representatives) • 4H

  5. Expectations • Homework • Points Value • Chart of Review Skills (M/W- LA; Tu/Th-Math) • S.S. M/W; Science- Tu/Th • Test/Assessment Days-L.A.-Fridays; Math- Wednesdays (Science and Social Studies not weekly).

  6. Continue Expectations • Notebook with labeled dividers and agenda. • Projects- 2 or 3 in Science and Social Studies each semester • Behavior- Class Cash as in Discipline Letter; Meigs Discipline Plan • Dress Code- Meigs Website and in Planner/Agenda • Late Work- Assignments are expected on time. Late work will be given credit, but a student’s effort grade will be affected.

  7. PTO • Contact sheets, Fundraisers: Invest, Smart Card, City Saver booklets, Krogers, Harris Teeter, Publix, Boxtops (YOU ARE THE PTO- PLEASE GET INVOLVED!!!)
