The Business of Research SSHRC • ‘we’ must become far more proficient at moving the knowledge from research to action and at linking with a range of researchers and stakeholder partners • pushing universities to rethink their role in society • must ensure that research is transformed into shared knowledge Government of Canada • Focus on innovation, science, technology • Want to create jobs and opportunity in competitive world, science, technology and innovation must be on a national agenda
