Background • Background (context) • of the European PV Policy Core Group: • National indicative targets for PV until 2010 defined in EU White Paper - not reached!?! • Disparate national policy approaches and effectiveness in terms of market development • Evaluation of national support mechanisms by the European Commission in 2005/2006 announced in Green Electricity Directive (2001/77/EC) • => ways of improvement and/or harmonisation?!?
