Waterloo Information Systems Limited presents WISL Webrate Overview The web based WISL Webrate interactive facility interfaces with WISL FAIS(Freight Analysis Information System) which provides for the storage and maintenance of rates data . After the shipment specifications are collected on the Webrate interactive facility they are sent to the WISL FAIS server which interrogates the rates data base and returns the best rate and related data to the Webrate interactive facility. WISL Webrate/FAIS Scenario • Shipment specifications are entered directly through a web based entry screen. • Webrate invokes the FAIS auto-rating mechanism which identifies the best rate and a list of additional rates found • Webrate provides for display of the rates data gathered in the auto-rating process and also provides for display of additional detail • Webrate can be implemented as an intranet facility or made available on the internet

11. Webrate Demonstration This is the authorization form for access to WISL Webrate. The authorization access records are maintained through the facilities of the FAIS Clerk specification. Left Click to Continue

14. Webrate Demonstration The first prompt is defaulted to the corporate head office. The ? button following any prompt label provides for help with the attribute specification(as illustrated). Left Click to Continue

Webrate Demonstration The Carrier prompt allows for specification by keyword(any word longer than 2 characters) in the name or address unless a drop down list of all carriers is presented for access to the specified user. Entering an “*” indicates that all carriers are to be considered(* is set as the default). Left Click to Continue

16. Webrate Demonstration The number of units should be entered if piece quotes are to be considered. Weight is required and must be entered in pounds. Left Click to Continue

17. Webrate Demonstration Volume should be entered if density is specified in rate quotes and must be expressed in cubic feet. Feet(linear feet required in trailer) must be entered if cube quotes are to be considered. Hours is entered only for service based on hourly cost. Left Click to Continue
