Waterloo Information Systems Limited presents WISL Webrate Overview The web based WISL Webrate interactive facility interfaces with WISL FAIS(Freight Analysis Information System) which provides for the storage and maintenance of rates data . After the shipment specifications are collected on the Webrate interactive facility they are sent to the WISL FAIS server which interrogates the rates data base and returns the best rate and related data to the Webrate interactive facility. WISL Webrate/FAIS Scenario • Shipment specifications are entered directly through a web based entry screen. • Webrate invokes the FAIS auto-rating mechanism which identifies the best rate and a list of additional rates found • Webrate provides for display of the rates data gathered in the auto-rating process and also provides for display of additional detail • Webrate can be implemented as an intranet facility or made available on the internet

Webrate Demonstration The Carrier prompt allows for specification by keyword(any word longer than 2 characters) in the name or address unless a drop down list of all carriers is presented for access to the specified user.
