Conclusions from last years work • Many inputs to the Small Combustion Sources Chapter • Need for more meetings to address special issues and plan work within the year • Issue of resources is critical • More chapters are in urgent need of reviewing or writing • Also in support to the new IPCC guidelines JRC-Ispra
Needs of IPCC • No duplication of work • NOx, CO, NMVOC, SO2, NH3,… • Will reference the EMEP/CORINAIR AEI Guidebook in the new guidelines JRC-Ispra
Other Needs • NFR changes • 1A2Fi: Other mobile in industry, 1A2Fii other • 2C Metal production • 3A Paint application • 3B Degreasing, and dry cleaning • 3D other (printing, preservation of wood, domestic solvent..) • PM Sources (wood processing, quarrying, mining, construction and demolition) JRC-Ispra
Other Needs • Review needs • The comments and questions from the review will come to the panel next year and you will be asked to comment on them on time • Mid march till mid April (to be confirmed) Experts will need to give their opinions/comments • This phase should take place before questions are sent to the countries JRC-Ispra
So, where are we? • Define Workprogramme 2005 • The work of the combustion and Industry Panel is far from finished! • We need the commitment of countries experts that they will work in order to fill the gap • Good news! Carlo Trozzi (IT) has accepted to co-lead the panel with us. JRC-Ispra
