CIBER X0 toX2 record type migration Led by Gepsie Cox, Cibernet gcox@cibernet.com • CIBER proposal to reject X0 record types early 2007 • The flow of roaming revenue may be impacted if systems are not updated or work arounds created • Cibernet gave training yesterday on how to properly populate these record types • Cibernet volunteered to provide on site training to any carrier that requests assistance • A draft educational piece is in progress • A subgroup is being formed – need volunteers • Contact Gepsie or Libby to sign up for this team
VSWG Coverage Exchange Initiative (CEI) • The challenge • Not all carriers provide roaming coverage maps to their roaming partners in the most usable format with the most valuable information • This limits the ability for a carrier to fully market and support roaming coverage • Revenue is left on the table or wasted • Action plan • Determine what needs to be exchanged between carriers and how to best exchange it

VSWG CEI Status • Short term goal • Create a set of requirements for coverage exchange between carriers so carriers can immediately begin to provide standardized mapping information to partners • Long term goal • Create an on line coverage repository where carriers can access their partners roaming coverage information in the agreed upon standardized format
