  7. Soil Data Warehouse / Soil Data Mart • In production December 2003. • Approximately 30% of soil surveys loaded into the warehouse and available through the mart. • Adding web services for OMS-Runoff Curve Number, Web Soil Survey, Geospatial Data Gateway. TOP

Web Soil Survey • Phase 1 release scheduled for June 2004. • Phase 1 will provide: • links to existing electronic soil survey publications. • navigating to and defining an Area of Interest (AOI). • saving an AOI for later use. • Phase 2 release scheduled for October 2004. • Phase 2 will provide customized soil survey reports including manuscript sections and interpretive maps. Web Soil Data Viewer / Resource Data Viewer / Soil Data Viewer (Toolkit) • Initial development is on Web Soil Data Viewer to provide interpretive soil maps for Web Soil Survey. • Resource Data Viewer will provide a common component for web applications to allow display of user selected themes. TOP

  10. Geospatial Data Gateway • Adding eAuthentication capability to control access to Tele Atlas data and other datasets. • Data service for delivering CLU data is developed. • Integration with GDW tape libraries (ASM) is underway. • Evaluating converting Gateway to .NET framework. TOP

  11. CSP: Soil Tillage Intensity Rating (STIR) • Simple web application to supplement Conservation Security Program self-assessment questionnaire. • Scheduled for deployment in the web farm June 7, 2004. TOP
