This project involves measuring and supporting various magnets in accelerators, including the Linac, Booster, Main Injector, P-Bar Source, and Tevatron. Measurements will be conducted on different magnet types and strengths, and any necessary repairs or refurbishments will be made. This project also includes the development of new magnets for future projects like LBNE, Project X, Mu2e, and G-2. Additionally, there is a need to upgrade the DAQ measurement system for increased efficiency and reliability.

New Projects • LBNE (DUSEL) – ~150 MI type dipoles, quads and correctors for the beam line • Project X - ~ 110 dipoles, quads (correctors are not included) for 2-8 GeV Booster • Mu2e – the beam (snake type ) solenoid, I am not sure about the detector magnet, 3-4 AC dipoles • G-2 - no any significant request for magnets
DAQ Upgrade for satandA,B &C • For next 4-6 years we may need to measure ~ 200-300 magnets or if we decided fraction of them • Stands A,B and C need upgrade of the DAQ measurement system to increase the efficiency and reliability of the measurement process - T&I and MS joint R&D effort is needed
