SNOWBALL is a service accessible from every mobile phone with included Bluetooth. User can access simply compiling a personal profile setting his (or her) categories, like: age, sexual orientation, nationality, language spoken, state… (I’d like to know people over 20 and under 40, homosexual, Portuguese, worker). Every other user with the same service will be picked up if in the active Bluetooth range. When two mobiles receipt each other, they automatically “throw” a SNOWBALL, an attack made sending an audio or a video file. These attacks can be preset by the user and can be modified anytime, because they’re a representation of the user besides a provocation to make new social contacts. An image of effect or just a particular melody may result more or less amazing, maybe decisive to guarantee a success or a flop… first impression matters! Every people in vacation will have the possibility to select the file which desires from the respective libraries or importing custom images and sounds. SNOWBALL is contained into a message and will be used when just arrived. At this point the excursionist will be able to find interesting his “antagonist” and so, starting a challenge just selecting and throwing a multimedia file. In case that the other has decided to send a file, it will be stimulated from the SNOWBALL to participate. Users can check the other profiles anytime, decide to ignore them, block contacts and add new elements to the friend list. If it’s desire to meet that person, all is needed is just to send a meeting request or decide who has to pay the spritz… It’s not necessary to know the phone number, unless a new friendship has grown. In case that two people who already know each other, their mobile will send the same attacking SNOWBALL unless they decided to block that person. Enjoy! The aim is to make a link between people, a bridge, to help them creating social moments. Knowing people in a new, alternative way, like the model “know and go”, without deciding a date before. Give the opportunity to break the frenetic flow of life which discourages new social relationships. KNOW AND GO ENCOURAGES NEW SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS HELPS PEOPLE TO CREATE NEW SOCIAL MOMENTS
