  2. During planning • What is the goal or purpose of each visual? • What do stakeholders want or need from visuals? • Can visuals be used to enhance persuasion and/or formatting? • What information is better presented visually? • What technologies can we use?

  3. During research phase • Do we need to gather more information in order to create visuals? • Are there any obstacles to accessing sources?

  4. During drafting • Are we presenting information ethically? • Is the document persuasive and/or informative in the ways it was intended? • Do we have all the information and visuals we need? • Have we tested mulitple options for presenting information? (Have we tinkered with formats and gotten multiple people to give feedback?)

  5. Distribution • Are we certain that the document(s) we have created meet all the client’s needs and limitations?
