  2. After maintenance of the TL-pump in November 2011 it showed unusual pressure variations. See vertexMT-meeting of January 19. Lately it exhibits, apart from wiggles in PT104, also a decreasing pressure profile. TR_PT104 TR-pump TL_PT104 26 bar TL-pump 24 bar 2 months VELO meeting

  3. Decided to switch from TL to TLR-pump. Did so on Friday July 27. TR-pump TR-pump TR_PT104 TL_PT104 TL-pump TLR-pump VELO meeting

  4. LHCb will take data till mid December and from January 6 till February 11, 2013. So what are we going to do with the TL-pump ?? nothing and wait for LS1 to repair, i.e. Feb 2013 ? in the TS3 + MD period (Sept. 17 till 30) ? isolate a.s.a.p. TL and repair it, but it is undetermined when we will have the opportunity, and risky because there is no spare (although it is a shaky TL-pump) during the repair. And testing it after repair might be impossible for a week or more. VELO meeting
