The City of Music Project • The municipality of Sabadell is creating a cultural center with • Orquesta Sinfonica del Valles • New Opera School (degree level) • Municipal School of Music Sabadell, a creative and entrepreneurial city, 200.000Hb, 30 Km from BCN,
The challenges • Future Internet will offer new opportunities for cities in the area of arts and culture. • Elearning Singing is a new demanding service exploiting the true interactivity of the network and a web based learning platform
Technical and Pedagogical Challenges • High quality of sound: a major problem • Capturing • Reproducing • Echo problem • Good quality of video: a minor problem • HDSDI • DVTS • Availability of advanced network: a major problem • Web based Pedagogical platform: minor problem
A major problem: Bringing Advanced Internet to City Cultural Centers

The Classroom in Amsterdam Captació en stereo i reproduccio en 5.0
Local, regional and national testing • Dec, 12, 2008. Local test between Municipal auditorium in Sabadell and UPV in Valencia (350kms) • Prof. Ana Luisa Chova in Sabadell, and 4 students in the UPV in Valencia. • A master class of a lied. • Comparing the stereo and Dolby 5.0 • Comparing the perceptions of the singer using head phones with the acoustics characteristics of the El Liceu.
