What, exactly, are these crazy Help Sessions? • Every other week, we’ll have informative presentations on topics that you don’t learn in class, but are really quite useful. • We’ll cover: • Unix, (what’s that?) • LaTeX – the essential system for preparing technical docs • vi/Emacs – two powerful yet hopelessly irritating text editors • Purify – a system for bug detection in C programs The CSUA and You
