Who Are We? • CSUA stands for Computer Science Undergraduate Association • A club for CS students to come together. • We are the only group that represents all of the CS undergrads. • Not only do we do things directly for students, but we are the link between the students and the faculty. The CSUA and You

What, exactly, are these crazy Help Sessions? • Every other week, we’ll have informative presentations on topics that you don’t learn in class, but are really quite useful. • We’ll cover: • Unix, (what’s that?) • LaTeX – the essential system for preparing technical docs • vi/Emacs – two powerful yet hopelessly irritating text editors • Purify – a system for bug detection in C programs The CSUA and You

  4. Ah, but CSUA is so much more…!? • Accounts • An office! • A lot of good cheap snacks and drinks. • A library of CS and other cool books. • Video games • A Lounge – Hang out, do work, and relax in Comfy chairs • Computers The CSUA and You
