  6. Stipulated APACase Establishment • Case Init Request • No Data Entry By Judicial • No Paper Filed By CSE • No Sorting, Stamping, Docketing Files By Judicial • Guaranteed data consistency between CSE & Judicial • Real-time assignment of FSR & Docket Numbers

Stipulated APACase Establishment • Support Order • No Data Entry By CSE • Guaranteed data consistency between CSE & Judicial • Automated Processes in ACSES • Update Case Maintenance Paternity and/or support order • Close APA • Start court order establishment • Put up hearing (Temp APA) • Notification to tech • Under consideration for automation • Verify Order (easy ones) • Judgments • Ledger Initiation • RPD

Stipulated APACase Establishment • Shortens Time to Establish • Reduces Effort for CSE & Judicial • Improves Data Consistency • CSE File Of Record (Paper or Electronic) • Need to Review File Retention Policies & Practices • Request for Copies • Minute orders can be used to satisfy request for certified copies of orders • CSE will have to provide copies of other documents on request • Can CSE provide a certified copy of the order?

Temporary APACase Establishment • Similar to Stipulated APA • Hearing Schedule Information exchanged in Case Init Request (CSE) or Support Order (Judicial) depending on who controls docket • CSE will deliver paper documents to court and Judicial will maintain a paper file. • Timing of transfer depends on county/district practices • Some counties do not do temporary orders today. This case needs to be addressed. • 2nd Support Order is exchanged even if no change from Temp Order

  10. Default APACase Establishment • Similar to Stipulated & Temporary APA • CSE delivers paper documents to court at time of initial filing

Requiring Further Consideration • CSE Document Retention Policies and Practices • Some counties indicate they prune files over time • Stipulated APA: CSE has only copy of documents • Request for document copies at CSE offices • Are some counties not using DocGen for some APA documents? • Some counties currently pre-assign FSR/Docket #s

  12. Requiring Further Consideration • Some counties do not do Temporary Orders: Need to address this scenario • Need to clarify when documents are transferred to court & what is transferred • Temps • Defaults • Modifications (not stipulated) • Case Closure

Project Schedule • 5/08 – 7/08 • Focus on implementing Case Init Request & FSR/Docket # Assignment • Services & System Modifications • Reassess project schedule based on knowledge gained during this initial implementation cycle • Potential rollout of FSR/Docket # Assignment in 2008 • Tentative Rollout Schedule: • Weld Pilot – 2nd Quarter 2009 • Jefferson Pilot 2nd/3rd Quarter 2009 • Statewide Rollout 3rd/4th Quarter 2009 • Final Grant Evaluation – 3 months after statewide rollout • Extension may be necessary – When do request?
