  5. File Upload • CSV file layout is the same • XML tag naming and order are the same • All CSV files are converted to XML

File Upload • Year End Records for all school enrollment periods are expected (not just the most recent record) • Some code sets are changing: • EXIT_TYPE • THIRD_PARTY_AGENCY • Some existing data elements are now required for lock but are still optional for upload. • POSS_ATTENDANCE • ACTUAL_ATTENDANCE • PROMOTION • MIGRANT • SECTION_504 • LONGTERM_US • TEST_STATUS • PAYER codes are optional for upload and lock.

  7. Full Term Dropout • Two types of Dropouts • Mid-term Dropouts • Full-term Dropouts • ISES records will be auto-generated when not included in file upload • District or School may modify limited exit information: • EXIT_TYPE • EXPECTED_TRANS_DISTRICT • EXPECTED_TRANS_SCHOOL • OPTIONAL

  12. Validation Process • Two new EXIT_TYPEs are accepted: • Prior Completion Credential (PCC) • Below Compulsory Age (BCA) • COMPLETED_TERM has several additional business rules • PAYER, if provided, must meet business rules.

  17. Pilot Testing for 2006-07 • ISES preliminary membership reports will be available beginning in 2006-07. These reports must be considered DRAFT and unofficial. • Some districts may be asked to test these reports in 2005-06. • Goals are to clarify the relationship between ISES and Membership and to assist districts in compiling data for the PI-1563 Pupil Count • Official data must continue to be submitted by districts to DPI as part of the PI-1563 Pupil Count.
