  2. Genre The Deadly Dungeon is a 1998 children's mystery novel by Ron Roy. It is the fourth in the A to Z Mysteries series following the sleuthing adventures of Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose.

  3. Settings The settings took place in a county called Maine. They also went on the bus, palace, playground, and finally a dungeon.

  4. Summary In this story, you will find mystery things. The main characters where Josh, Dink, and Ruth Rose going to Maine to visit their good friends, Wallis Wallace and Walker Wallace. While they're there, there is a screech within the walls. The screech is thought to be the Ghost of Emory Scott. This is located on a hill and at the base of the hill is a cave. The group decides to explore the cave. Within the cave they find a dungeon that holds two endangered, caged parrots. Later that night they set a trap to find out who would do such a terrible thing. Read it because the ending is a mystery.

  5. Why I love this book. I like this book. Do you know why, because it is a mystery book and I love mystery books. I love it because I like the bad guy that do the problem and the problem is that the bad guy put endangered parrots in 2 cages in the dungeon. I like the three kids solve the problem by finding the dungeon in the playground and freeing the parrots. The group who is going to most enjoy this book is the kids who like mysteries books.
